Cell Therapy Group Challenges Industry to Support Non-Profit Sector

the Cell Therapy Group has committed financial support in 2009 to the cell therapy industry's leading
non-profit organization, ISCT (the International Society for Cellular Therapy) and challenges its corporate
peers to do the same.

Mountain View, CA -- (January 2, 2009) The Cell Therapy Group (www.celltherapygroup.com) announced today it hasmade the financial commitment to support the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) in 2009 through its corporate membership program.

The Group issued a challenge to all its corporate colleagues in the cell therapy and regenerative medicine
sector to do the same. "ISCT is the leading non-profit organization in the sector," stated Cell Therapy
Group principle consultant, R. Lee Buckler. "It is important - even more so in these tough financial times -
that we support the organizations that facilitate and support the growth of the industry."

As part of a payback to companies who support the organization, each company participating in corporate
membership of ISCT will be entitled to name a representative to the organization's Commercialization
Committee, chaired by Cell Therapy Group's Lee Buckler.

activity hub for those interested in pooling resources and commitments to do for the maturation of the cell
